Job Title: Visual Merchandiser
Job Purpose:- To contribute to the Store’s Business by creating eye-catching store layout and product display to attract customers and encourage them to buy
On Floor Engagement:-
·         Implementing floor plans following Brand VM guidelines
·         Creating special displays to promote a specific product or offer
·         Making best use of a store's space and layout
·         Giving feedback to head office and buying teams
·         Setting up displays, dressing dummies and arranging screens, fabric and posters
·         Sourcing display materials
·         Making sure that prices and other required details can be seen
·         Coaching sales staff how goods should be displayed
·         Taking down old displays


Merchandising & Display:-
·         Fill up the sales floor (tables, racks, shelves, walls) as per the brands standards on colour blocking, size, styles etc
·         Follow the merchandising guidelines and be updated on it at all times
·         Ensure that the store looks at its best by taking care of all hygiene and cleanliness standards
·         Feel jointly responsible for bringing the merchandise back on floor from the trial rooms
·         Give feedback on the customer footfalls and the sell through of the merchandise

Cash Point Engagement:-
·         Count the money carefully when you take cash from the customer
·         Count the “till money” carefully while dealing with cash from the cash box
·         Ensure enough “change”-coins are available before transaction
·         Reconcile your cash dealings at the end of the day
·         Take responsibility of your cash balance
·         Execute proper cleanliness at the cash point and refilling of the paper bags, gimmicks etc

Personality and Attitude:-
·         Keep updated on Bestsellers history, code of conduct, ethics etc
·         Be a cohesive team-player
·         Be open minded on work challenges, shift hours and additional tasks assigned-take initiatives and be innovative
·         Be interested and inquisitive in the day to day operations (basket size, hit rate, footfall, gross margin, ATV, ASP etc) and business-contribute towards achieving the store target
·         Be an active participant in staff meetings and briefings
·         Walk attentively through the shop floor and suggest changes as per guidelines
·         Execute safety and security procedures wherever applicable


Knowledge, Skill & Experience:-
·         Education: Graduates. (graduates in Retail and Fashion courses shall be preferred)
·         Age: 20-26 years
·         Min Retail Experience: 1 year (experience with renowned fast fashion brands with COCO/COFO stores shall be preferred) in visual merchandising
·         Individual monthly sales contribution: 4-5.5 Lpm
